Hello everyone!!! Welcome to 星洲言葉!!! :D 

This site is dedicated to the learning of Chinese dialects in Singapore and mainly focuses on Singaporean Hokkien and Teochew! (for now XD)

I may share personal stories too from time to time on the home page, but this will not make up the bulk of content on this page.

This site is for speakers and non-speakers of Chinese dialects to learn, share and improve their understanding of these languages.

Please note that I am in no way an expert in this field. My posts are definitely oversimplified due to the highly complex and academic nature of linguistics. I try to state these concepts in simpler and more relatable terms, purposefully missing out on information, as I write only what I feel is essential. More information and further reading can be found in the embedded links provided.
